: Cet élève de l'entraîneur Giuseppe Botti, a laissé bien des regrets en dernier lieu pour sa première participation à une épreuve analogue. Bloqué au sein du peloton, il n'a jamais trouvé l'ouverture au moment opportun alors qu'il possédait d'évidentes ressources. A l'aise sur cette distance et bien placé à la corde, il ne sera pas loin de la vérité.
