: C'est le vainqueur de la précédente édition. Soigneusement préparé pour cette épreuve, il a mieux couru que ne l'indique son classement, lors de son plus récent essai à Maisons-Laffitte. Ce jour-là, après avoir longtemps attendu, il a fourni un assez bon effort final. Plus motivé cette fois, il semble en mesure de jouer un tout premier rôle.
