The Irish Examiner Rated Race of €17,500 (Generously sponsored by the Irish Examiner) Of which the second will receive €3,500, the third €1,750, the fourth €875 and the fifth €437.50 For three yrs old and upwards which at entry, are rated 80 or less (also open to horses rated 81-90) About one mile and 25 yds €122.50 to enter, €35 extra if declared to run Weights: 3-y-o 8st 10lb 4-y-o & up 9st 4lb Penalties - Performances before July 12th - for every 1lb above the rating of 80 1lb extra On or after July 12th - for each race won 6lb extra N.B. Horses that have not run three times and/or do not have a published handicap rating are eligible to enter and run at the discretion of the handicapper.
