The Kennedy's Bar Sligo Rated Novice Hurdle of €20,000 (Generously sponsored by The Quinn Family, Embassy Bar, Sligo) Of which the second will receive €4,000, the third €2,000, the fourth €1,000 and the fifth €500 A novice hurdle for four yrs old and upwards which, at entry, are rated 113 or less (also open to horses, which at entry, are rated 114 - 123) About two miles and four furlongs €140 to enter, €40 extra if declared to run Weights: 4-y-o 10st 5lb 5-y-o and up 11st Penalties - Performances before 1st May - for every 1lb above the rating of 113 1lb extra On or after 1st May - for each hurdle race won 4lb extra N.B. Horses that have not run three times over hurdles and/or do not have a published handicap hurdle rating may enter and run at the discretion of the handicapper provided their performances are rated 123 or less.
