The Sheridan Electric Handicap of €10,500 (Generously sponsored by Michael Sheridan, Castlebar) Of which the second will receive €1,785, the third €840 and the fourth €525 An extended handicap for four yrs old and upwards (80 = 10st) About one mile, one furlong and 110 yds €84 to enter, €21 extra if declared to run Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 5lb extra for each race won Note:- Any horse rated above 80 shall initially be treated as having that rating and the highest weight allotted shall be 10st. Subsequently, the excess over 80 in any rating shall be added to the weight allotted to that horse. Horses which receive a published weight of 8st 3lb or less will be entitled to a 50% reduction in entry fee. Should they be declared to run they will then become liable for the full amount of the cost to run.
