The Gibney's Handicap Steeplechase of €15,000 (Generously sponsored by Gibney's) Winner will receive €9,000 (Penalty Value: €8,850) Second will receive €3,000 Third will receive €1,500 Fourth will receive €750 Fifth will receive €450 Sixth will receive €300 An extended handicap steeplechase for five years old and upwards (123 = 11st 12lbs) About 3 miles €120 to enter, €30 extra if declared to run Penalties - Winner of a steeplechase after calculation of the handicap shall carry 7lb extra for each steeplechase won. Horses which receive a published weight of 9st 13lbs or less will be entitled to a 50% reduction in entry fee. Should they be declared to run they will then become liable for the full amount of the cost to run
