The ConverMax Rated Novice Hurdle of €12,500 (Generously sponsored by Cargill Animal Nutrition Ireland) Of which the second will receive €2,500, the third €1,250, the fourth €625 and the fifth €312.50 A novice hurdle race for four yrs old and upwards which at entry are rated 106 or less over hurdles (also open to horses rated 107-116) About two miles €87.50 to enter, €25 extra if declared to run Weights: 4-y-o 10st 11lb 5-y-o and up 11st Penalties - Performances before 19th December - for every 1lb above the rating of 106 1lb extra On or after 19th December - for each hurdle race won 4lb extra N.B. Horses that have not run three times over hurdles and/or do not have a published handicap hurdle rating may enter and run at the discretion of the handicapper provided their performances are rated 116 or less.
