The Derrinstown Stud Apprentice Handicap of €9,000 (Rated 50-70) (A race in the Derrinstown Stud Apprentice Series) (Generously sponsored by Derrinstown Stud) Of which the second will receive €1,530, the third €720 and the fourth €450 An extended handicap for three yrs old and upwards rated 50-70 About one mile and four furlongs €72 to enter, €18 extra if declared to run Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 5lb extra for each race won Riders - Apprentices who are apprenticed to trainers in Ireland only and who have not lost the right to claim the 10lb or 7lb allowance under Rule 69 and who will not be allowed to carry whips. Allowances - (up to and including 23rd September and which are not cumulative) Apprentices who have not ridden a *winner allowed 7lb Those who have not ridden three *winners allowed 4lb Those who have not ridden ten *winners allowed 2lb * Including any races under N.H.
