Ménagé par son entraîneur, Eric Danel, il n'a pas démérité l'an passé en compagnie moins huppée. En théorie, d'autres concurrents lui sont préférables. Toutefois, il apprécie le terrain très souple et la monte de Christophe Lemaire peut inciter à la méfiance.
